Here is a fun and delicious recipe from Tim Robinson. “Fajita” is a Mexican term for little meat strips, originally came from Texas. An interesting health fact: the sweet peppers in this dish work to keep your skin looking great. Their vitamin C helps builds firming collagen and fends off damaging free radicals. Your kids will love it!
Ingredients
- 3/4 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into Juilan
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh garlic
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Kashmir chili powder
- Vegetable oil cooking for spraying
- 1 medium onion, Juilan cutting
- 1 medium red / Yelow / Green Sweet pepper, Julian cutting
- 1 big tomatoes with Julian cutting
- Fresh chopped cilantros
- Salt as per taste
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed black pepper
- 2 teaspoon of French mustard Paste
- 1 teaspoon sesame seed
- 1 lime, cut into wedges (optional)
Marinating (2 Hours)
- 3/4 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into Juilan
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh garlic
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Kashmir chili powder
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed black pepper
- 2 teaspoon of French mustard PasteMethod
- Heat a non stick fry pan in a low flame, add the vegetable oil to the pan, as soon as the oil begins to smoke, lay all the marinated ingredients on the pan, and let the chicken cook undisturbed for 10 minutes.
- Saute the dish in low flame for another 2 minutes so that the dish doesn’t stick to the pan.
- Once the dish is half done, add the onions and let the onion get cooked with the chicken.
- Finally add the Sweet pepper, tomatoes and cilantros and mix well, garnish with sesame seeds
Enjoy this dish with a sweet white wine.
